The Information Technology Center held a workshop on the competitive examination system for postgraduate students at the University of Technology on Sunday 26/05/2019, by attending scientific departments assistants

The lecturers of workshop: -

- Researcher Abu Bakr Saeb / system administrator

 

 

IT Center held a workshop starting implementation of curriculum system, that attended by Prof.Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hassan Attia, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Soadad Issam Younis, Head of the Student Affairs Department and Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussain Bilal Al-Sultani, Manager of IT Center and all managers of registration division departments.

 workshop was opened by manager of IT Center by welcoming the attendees and starting with a discussion of the actual steps that must be applied by registration division managers in scientific departments and how to set time plans for their implementation according to the beginning of registration for first stage students for academic year 2019-2020. This was followed by director of the curriculum system, Muhammad Sabah, by talking about the components of system and authorities to registration division managers and emphasizing on registration division managers need to provide a unique account for each student to access the system and complete the registration process. At the end of the workshop, Prof.Dr. Scientific Assistant praised the efforts that applied to hold the workshop and the registration efforts in departments, and focused on the necessity of dealing with the curriculum system seriously and decisively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to University of Technology’s Presidency directives and the request of some scientific departments and lecturers’ staff, the University’s Web Sites Division at the Information Technology Center created an Academic platform for lecturers, by design and create an Academic Profile on all the websites of the scientific departments and centers where it has the following features:

  1. A unified professional’s profile for all University of Technology’s lecturers’ staff.
  2. A special link for each lecturer member in university, where the link contains the name of lecturer represented at the top of the site.
  3. The advantages of the academic profile link are to represent the lecturers by sending it to scientific conferences and external seminars when participated by them.
  4. Send the link, that has the same extension of university (.EDU) for represented as a CV or profile instead of sending as a PDF file.
  5. Using the link as an academic file when applying for external scholarships and training workshops which sometimes require an introductory link to the lecturer throughout university.
  6. we could add the academic profile link on lecturer scientific sites such as (Google Scholar, Researchgate ... etc) ,social and professional networking sites ( Linkedin , facebook , Google site , or any personal blog )

A workshop was held training course for 3 days  to the websites  members' departments and centers on the academic profile.

which attended by presence of the scientific assistants of the scientific departments and members of the departments, centers and directorates liaison.

The Information Technology Center/Electronic Systems and Management Division has established a workshop on the standardized English examination system for postgraduate students On Sunday 26/1/2020 for the scientific departments, the workshop was opened by the Director of the Information Technology Center M.T. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal Al-Soltany

The workshop included a detailed explanation of the system and how the exam would be performed electronically for students as well as listening to the audience's opinions and suggestions and answering all questions asked by System programrs and finally thanked all attendees and thanks are connected to the programrs for their basic and valuable work in this system.
